The Sony HDR-SR1E features a high quality Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T 10x zoom lens with Super SteadyShot Optical Image Stabilisation technology, to allow the user to shoot and capture distant subjects without compromising picture quality. Sony’s ClearVid CMOS Sensor improves the picture quality through Exmor technology which boosts the resolution, increases sensitivity and reduces noise, for wonderfully crisp and clear images even when taken at high zoom levels. Due to the range of features within the camcorder, high-speed signal processing is required which is powered by the impressive BIONZ image processor to ensure images are processed effectively.

The Sony HDR-SR1E’s 3.5″ Wide Hybrid Clear photo LCD plus touch-screen is perfect for setting up shots and reviewing footage with realistic colour reproduction. Use the screen to access various indexing options so you can quickly and easily find and play selected scenes from your videos.
Additional HDR-SR1E Functionality
With a built-in microphone, the Sony HDR-SR1E camcorder records in Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound so you can relive your movies with realistic sound.
