Outstanding Image Quality
The 14.2 effective megapixel DSLR A350K camera comes with the standard Sony Zoom Lens kit (DT 18-70mm F3.5-5.6), to produce fantastic images with fine detail and clarity. The advanced BIONZ image processing engine enhances the performance of the high quality CCD sensor and powers the D-Range Optimiser, which automatically fixes the exposure to define shadows and highlight fine detail. The camera automatically recognises awkward backlit scenes and makes adjustments to ensure your photographs are well balanced and perfectly exposed, even when shooting conditions are tricky.
Quick Auto Focus Live View
The A350K SLR is ideal for reactive shooting thanks to the Quick AF Live View technology, which allows you to view your subjects and fast-moving scenes in real-time. With ultra-fast auto-focus, accurate exposure control, and continuous shooting functionality, you can rapidly shoot and capture perfectly optimised images. The Smart Teleconverter function provides an instant digital zoom factor of 1.4x or 2x, to increase the effective focal length of the lens. With the high-resolution sensor you can be sure that the image quality is retained even when using the digital zoom.
Super SteadyShot Image Stabilisation
The Sony DSLR A350K features Super SteadyShot technology, meaning every lens benefits from between 2.5 and 3.5 exposure steps to ensure your images have minimal blur, even when shooting in low light without the flash. This feature is powered by the Bionz Image Processor, which rapidly processes images and enhances the white balance and exposure control.
High ISO Sensitivity
The Sony SLR A350K has a high sensitivity of ISO 3200 allowing you to capture beautiful images, even when shooting without a tripod in poor-light. This is also relevant when you want naturally-lit images without using the flash. The High ISO Noise Reduction mode further enhances the picture quality at high sensitivity settings, for clear and crisp images with fine detail and depth.
2.7-inch Tilting LCD Screen
The 2.7-inch LCD screen gives the user complete freedom and flexibility, as it can be tilted upwards by up to 130 degrees and down by up to 40 degrees. Changing the angle of the screen ensures the user remains face-to-face with their subject and allows for even greater creativity.
Simple and Easy-to-use
The intelligent Sony A350K stores all frequently used functions, so the user can quickly access them by pressing the Function button. Displayed as a list, the user can then select from the list of functions making composition set-up much simpler and fast – this is particularly relevant for professionals that repeatedly use set studio lighting.
Anti Dust Technology
In addition to the supplied lens, the DSLR A350K is compatible with a range of lenses which can be changed and utilised depending on the shooting conditions and requirements. The static-free anti-dust coating on the sensor, and anti-dust vibration (the CCD is automatically shaken to dislodge dust every time the camera is switched off), help to minimise the damaging effects of dust entering the camera body when changing lenses.
