Blur-free Images
Sony’s practical Super SteadyShot optical image stabilisation technology minimises handshake that can blur your images, even when using additional macro and standard lenses. Contrast and exposure are adjusted by the enhanced D-Range Optimiser (DRO), for well-exposed, natural images, particularly when shooting high-contrast or tricky backlit scenes. Select the DRO Advanced mode and the camera will automatically detect and correct backlit scenes for beautifully exposed images.
Outstanding Sony Quality
The Sony DSLR-A200 features High ISO Noise Reduction, to improve the picture quality when shooting at maximum ISO 3200 sensitivity, which is particularly useful when shooting handheld in poorly lit conditions without the flash. The latest BIONZ image processor processes information at high-speeds and reduces picture noise before converting to JPEG format; the results are high-resolution images with exceptional clarity and depth.
Sharp Responses
Enhanced responsiveness and an accurate auto-focus allow you to quickly react to spontaneous photo opportunities. The A200’s BIONZ image processor immediately powers up the camera and the eye-start auto-focus begins focusing before the shutter is even pressed. A manual auto-focus button quickly switches the focus area to the centre of the frame – perfect for focusing on small subjects. The pop-up flash fires automatically in Auto or Scene Selection modes, but can be overridden for shots in ambient light.
Simple Playback
The Sony DSLR-A200 has been designed for photographers of all abilities, so they can shoot incredible images with ease and confidence. The large, 2.7-inch Clear Photo LCD screen features a useful Camera Function Display, which lets you quickly select and adjust the camera settings, plus an RGB histogram mode illustrates the colour balance of captured images. The A200’s six Scene Selection modes make it easy to set the exposure and white balance depending on the conditions, so you can concentrate on getting a great shot. In addition, eight Creative Styles make it easy to create a particular style without having to worry about complex settings.
Zoom Lens Kit
The DSLR-A200K kit includes the DSLR-A200 digital camera and a DT 18-70mm f3.5-5.6 3.9x zoom lens, for enhanced creative options and control. Sony’s dual anti-dust system protects the camera’s sensor during lens exchange. There are 20 optional interchangeable lenses and lighting systems that are compatible with the A200 to really enhance your photography experience.
