The Sony DSLR-A100W combines advanced SLR features with Sony’s acclaimed digital imaging innovations. The Dynamic Range Optimiser combines with the Bionz image processing engine to produce exceptional picture quality with natural colour reproduction. The image processor also powers the continuous burst mode which allows you to capture up to three frames per second at 10.2-megapixels and the finest JPEG compression. In addition, Sony’s Dynamic Range Optimiser (DRO) analyses the image data and immediately determines the ideal exposure and colour tonality of an image before JPEG compression.
Super SteadyShot Image Stabilisation
Handshake and blurred images are countered by the high light sensitivity (up to a maximum ISO 1600) and Super SteadyShot Inside image stabilisation which shifts the image sensor to counter camera movement. This feature works with all telephoto, wide-angle, standard and macro lenses and lets the user shoot hand-held at longer shutter speeds than would normally be possible; you can shoot worry-free in natural lighting without the need for a tripod or the flash.
Anti-Dust Lens Protection
The Sony DSLR-A100W camera and lens kit comes with the standard zoom lens and a 75-300mm telezoom lens, allowing you to shoot both near and far subjects with precision and clarity. To protect the cameras lens sensor when changing lenses, the sensor has an anti-dust coating to prevent static build-up reducing the propensity of dust settling there. In addition, every time the camera is switched on or off an anti-dust feature is activated to shake dust particles off the lens.
Practical and Easy-to-use
To ensure you never miss a shot, the DSLR-A100W features an eye-start auto focus, which automatically starts focusing on a subject when the eye reaches the viewfinder – even before the shutter is pressed. Photos can easily be set-up and reviewed on the large 2.5-inch Clear Photo LCD Plus screen for excellent wide-angle capabilities and fantastic colour reproduction.
