The Lightweight Sony SR52E HDD Handycam

Exceptional Picture Quality
Despite its compact and lightweight design, the Sony SR52E is packed with innovative technology to help you produce fantastic footage of outstanding quality. The 1 Megapixel Advanced HAD CCD produces high resolution images with fine details and wonderful colour reproduction. The in-camera Super SteadyShot picture stabilisation technology also helps to improve picture quality by reducing the effects of camera shake which can blur your shots. The results are breathtaking images that perfectly capture each and every scene. And shooting in low light is no problem for the SR52E thanks to the Auto Slow Shutter mode which automatically boosts the minimum illumination performance up to 5 lux
Powerful Optical Zoom Lens
The Sony SR52E is equipped with a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens that effectively captures colour and contrast in your shots to produce beautifully clear and crisp images. With a 25x Optical Zoom and 2000x Digital Zoom you are able to shoot and focus on distant subjects without losing the picture quality giving you the freedom to capture exactly what you want.
Crash Protection Features
To ensure your videos are safeguarded, the Sony SR52E Handycam uses a HDD Smart Protection system to protect against the accidental loss of your files. A physical shock absorber protects the hard disk drive against physical jarring and jolts during operation, whilst a 3G sensor detects sudden movement in three dimensions to differentiate between accidental drops and other body actions. In addition, video stream buffering helps to ensure that recording continues smoothly.
Wide 2.7″ Hybrid LCD Screen
The Sony SR52E features a 2.7-inch Wide Hybrid LCD screen with touch panel which allows you to easily view and review your shots. Additional zoom and recording start/stop buttons are located on the frame of the LCD screen so you can easily operate the camcorder at waist height or when it is used on a tripod. The Home menu on the LCD screen makes it easy to navigate the camera settings, set up your shots and review your footage.
Handycam Station
Included with the SR52E is Sony’s Handycam Station which allows you to quickly view your images on a connected TV or PC via the analogue and Hi-Speed USB connectors. The station will also charge the camcorder whilst you are enjoying your footage. The SR52E’s One-Touch Disc Burn function can record an hour’s worth of video onto DVD via a connected PC in around 20 minutes, so you can swiftly share and save your videos.
