Outstanding Picture Quality
The Sony SR190E produces wonderful videos and still images of up to 4 Megapixel resolution. The Sony ClearVid CMOS sensor within the camcorder produces high quality images of fine detail and clarity and allows for high sensitivity shooting and Dual recording. The clever Dual Rec mode allows you to capture 2.3 Megapixel still images whilst continuing to record movies, giving you both video and photographic memories of beautiful quality.
Advanced Sony Technology
With the powerful Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T 10x Optical Zoom lens, the Sony SR190E effortlessly captures distant subjects without jeopardising the picture quality; in addition, with the 80x Digital Zoom you have the flexibility to create your perfect shots. Sony’s Super SteadyShot Image Stabilisation technology is particularly important when shooting at high zoom settings or in poorly lit condition, when the effects of hand-shake can be magnified. Camera shake is minimised in the DCR-SR190E, to ensure your pictures do not come out blurred.
Wide 2.7″ LCD Plus Screen
The DCR-SR190E features a 2.7-inch Wide, Clear Photo LCD Plus screen with touch panel which displays the camera set-up menus and your recorded footage in fine detail with superb contrast and a wide viewing angle. Use the Home menu and Guide function on the touch panel to navigate the camera’s settings and set-up your perfect shots.
Smart Protection System
To safeguard your files, the SR190E Handycam features a Hard Disk Drive Smart Protection system whereby a physical shock absorber protects the hard disk drive against physical jolts and knocks whilst the camera is in operation. In addition a 3G sensor detects sudden movement in three dimensions, so it can differentiate between accidental drops and other body actions.
Handycam Station
Included with the SR190E is Sony’s Handycam Station, which connects to your TV or PC via the analogue and Hi-Speed USB connectors, so you can quickly and easily watch and share your movies and images. Whilst docked in the station, the camcorder is recharged. The One-Touch Disc Burn function records an hour’s worth of video onto DVD via a connected PC in around 20 minutes, so you can quickly share and save your videos.
