The Stylish Sony Cyber-shot W50 Digital Camera
Elegant, practical and affordable - the Sony Cyber-shot W50 is a great all-round digital camera. The 6 effective Megapixels, large 2.5-inch LCD screen, and ZEISS 3x Optical Zoom make it easy to take impressive photographs, whether you are a beginner or an expert!
Sony Anti-Blur Technology
The Cyber-shot W50 features High Sensitivity ‘Anti-Blur’ technology (up to ISO1000), allowing you to take great photos, even in low light conditions when hand shake can blur your shots. You can also capture moving objects, or shoot stationary objects whilst you are moving – great for those action shots! The High Sensitivity and Sony-developed Clear RAW NR feature help to reduce colour and luminance noise, resulting in sharper, naturally lit photos without the use of the flash.
Easy Viewing
Share and view your photos with friends and family by connecting the Sony Cyber-shot W50 to a TV screen – the 16:9 shooting mode takes wide-screen images, ideal for viewing on a wide-screen TV. With the high speed USB 2.0 and PictBridge, you can print directly to any compatible PictBridge photo printer, such as the Sony DPP-FP50. Sony’s new Cyber-shot Viewer software (supplied with the Sony Cyber-shot W50) lets you transfer images to your PC, so you can browse and share using the unique calendar function, or make simple edits such as trimming or red-eye reduction. The optional Memory Stick Duo and Memory Stick PRO Duo are useful for saving your shots on a PC or printing out.
Sophistication and Simplicity
With seven Scene Selection shooting modes, the Sony Cyber-shot W50 produces stunning pictures every time. Choose from Twilight, Twilight portrait, Landscape, Soft snap, Snow, Beach or High Sensitivity depending on the conditions, and let the automatic settings do all the hard work. Use the LCD screen to browse the new function and icon guide which controls the main flash, macro and self-timer settings.
You can view and shoot near or far subjects using the 6x Precision Digital Zoom and a 13x VGA Smart Zoom. Sony has added an impressive 32MB internal memory and remarkable STAMINA battery life, to ensure you won’t miss that perfect shot.
Additional Extras
Choose from a great range of Sony Cyber-shot W50 accessories, such as the heavy-duty black leather carry case (LCS-WE), spare LITHIUM-ION Type G rechargeable battery (NP-BG1), and fantastic underwater Sports Housing which can be used in depths up to 3m (SPK-WA). More professional photographers may be interested in the range of filters and high grade lenses which are also available.
