Sharper Shots with the Sony Cyber-shot W30
Sony has combined sleek styling with up-to-date technology in the Sony Cyber-shot W30. With 6 effective Megapixels, a large 2-inch LCD screen, and ZEISS 3x Optical Zoom, this camera produces stunning images at an affordable price.
Sony Anti-Blur Technology
With the Cyber-shot W30’s High Sensitivity ISO1000 ‘Anti-Blur’ technology, you can continue to take great photos even in difficult conditions, such as low light. This technology reduces the risks of hand shake, which can blur your shots, and you can even capture moving objects or shoot stationary objects whilst you are moving. High Sensitivity and the Sony-developed Clear RAW NR feature reduce colour and luminance noise, allowing you to take sharp, naturally lit photos without using the flash.
Share with Style
Connect the Sony Cyber-shot W30 to a TV screen to view your photos with family and friends – use the 16:9 shooting mode to shoot wide-screen images for viewing on a wide-screen TV. Use the high speed USB 2.0 and PictBridge to print directly to any compatible PictBridge photo printers, such as the Sony DPP-FP50. Sony’s new Cyber-shot Viewer software (supplied with the Sony Cyber-shot W30) is a quick and easy way to transfer your images to your PC, so you can browse and share using the unique calendar function, or make simple edits such as trimming or red-eye reduction. The optional Memory Stick Duo and Memory Stick PRO Duo are handy for saving your shots on a PC or printing out.
Sophistication and Simplicity
The Sony Cyber-shot W30 has no less than seven Scene Selection shooting modes, to help you take high quality photos every time. Select Twilight, Twilight portrait, Landscape, Soft snap, Snow, Beach or High Sensitivity, and let the automatic settings do the hard work for you. This is a great camera for beginners, as the new function and icon guide lead users through the main flash, macro and self-timer settings on the LCD screen.
The 6x Precision Digital Zoom, and a 13x VGA Smart Zoom help you to view and shoot subjects that are near or far; and with a 32MB internal memory and impressive STAMINA battery life, you do not have to worry about missing the perfect shot.
Optional Accessories
Sony have developed a great range of accessories for the Cyber-shot W30, including a hard-wearing black leather carry case (LCS-WE), spare LITHIUM-ION Type G rechargeable battery (NP-BG1), and a great underwater Sports Housing that you can use in depths up to 3m (SPK-WA). For more professional photographers, a variety of filters and high grade lenses are available.
