Sony W150 - Outstanding Image Quality
The Sony Cyber-Shot W150 digital camera has a resolution of 8.1 effective megapixels and a powerful Carl Zeiss 5x zoom wide angle lens, allowing the user to shoot both near and far subjects in fine detail. The latest Sony technology enhances the quality of your images ensuring a perfect shot every time, whatever the conditions.
BIONZ Image Processor
Sony’s BIONZ image processor powers the D-Range Optimiser, which automatically alters the exposure and contrast settings to create natural-looking and well-balanced images. Its effects are particularly noticeable in strongly backlit scenes where there is a risk of high and low light detail will be lost. The Intelligent Scene Recognition will also adjust the camera’s settings depending on the conditions, allowing you to concentrate on capturing the perfect shot.
High Sensitivity
The Cyber-Shot W150 has a high sensitivity (up to ISO 3200) which produces exceptional low-noise shots taken without flash indoors or in poor lighting conditions. This works with the Super SteadyShot optical image stabilisation to make sure your photos are not affected by handshake that can blur photos in low light or at higher zoom settings.
Face Detection Technology
The BIONZ image processor also powers the Cyber-Shot W150’s improved Face Detection technology which quickly tracks and recognises faces in a scene to make sure each is perfectly focused. In addition, this clever feature will adjust the settings to take into account the distance of each face from the camera, and will even automatically distinguish between children and adults, adjusting the exposure, skin tone and red-eye reduction for wonderful portraits of any subject.
Smile Shutter Feature
Everybody likes a happy photo – and now all your photos can feature only smiling faces thanks to the Smile Shutter function which waits until your subject smiles before firing the shutter. The new Smile Level setting even allows you to fine-tune the smile threshold, from a gentle smile to a big grin. Say cheese!
High-Definition Imagery
The HD Output on the Cyber-Shot W150 means you can relive your memories in extraordinary detail and realism on any HD Ready display. Simply connect the camera directly to your TV with the optional output adaptor cable and you can wow your friends and family with the incredible quality of your photographs.

Despite the wealth of technology, the Sony Cyber-Shot W150 is simple and straightforward to use. The friendly on-screen function guide is easy to read on the large, bright 2.7-inch Clear Photo LCD plus screen and the Easy Shooting mode makes beautiful photography a breeze.
