The Impressive Sony Cyber-shot W100 Digital Camera
The versatile Sony Cyber-shot W100 features all the latest technology, including a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 3x Optical Zoom lens and a 1/1.8” size 8.1 effective Megapixel CCD. The 6x Precision Digital Zoom and 15x VGA Smart Zoom help you to shoot subjects near and far. With a sleek metal aluminium body, characterised by a special luxury-style ‘etching-treatment’, this top of the range camera is unique.
Sony Anti-Blur Technology for Clearer Images
The Cyber-shot W100 features High Sensitivity ‘Anti-Blur’ technology, which allows you to take great photos even in low light conditions when hand shake can blur your shots. Equally, even if you or your subject are moving, you can capture sharper images – something you cannot achieve when using a camera with an optical image stabiliser.
High Sensitivity
Take your photography to a new level with the high sensitivity rating ISO1250 on the Cyber-shot W100. This, combined with the innovative Sony Clear RAW NR system, reduces colour and luminance noise when shooting without the flash, resulting in sharp naturally lit images. In addition, the new two-second self-timer mode helps to minimise camera shake which can occur when pressing the shutter button.
Shooting Modes
As well as the existing Standard, Monochrome and Sepia colour modes, the Cyber-shot W100 has additional Natural and Vivid colour options. Select Natural mode for shots with subtle colouring, or choose Vivid mode to highlight primary colours in more detail and depth. The handy Scene Selection shooting modes help to capture the mood of every moment: Twilight, Twilight Portrait, Landscape, Soft Snap, Beach, and High Sensitivity. Simply point and shoot, letting the automatic settings do the hard work: the results are high quality images every time. For more creative photography use the different Light Metering options, a Histogram display, Flash-specific selections and Multi-burst shooting modes. The Cyber-shot W100 also has the extra flexibility of Manual Exposure control.
Easy Viewing
The Cyber-shot W100 has a large 2.5-inch (6.2 cm) LCD screen, with 100% LCD screen field of view which enables you to easily frame, view and review images. Plus, the new direct display brightness adjustment option automatically adjusts the screen’s brightness according to lighting conditions. Select the 16:9 shooting mode to take wide-screen images – great for viewing on a wide-screen TV.
With an impressive 64MB internal memory, you do not have to feel restricted by the number of photos you can take before transferring them to your PC. Images can be stored on an optional Memory Stick Duo or Memory Stick PRO Duo so you can easily save your photos on a PC or print them out. With a high speed USB 2.0 and PictBridge, you can print directly to any compatible PictBridge photo printers (such as the Sony DPP-FP50), for instant photo development. The new Cyber-shot Viewer software is a quick and easy-to-use solution for importing images to your PC, browsing and sharing using a new and unique calendar function, or even making simple edits such as resizing or trimming.
