The High-Tech Sony Cyber-Shot T50
Despite weighing just 130g, the slim-line Sony Cyber-Shot T50 packs in the latest technology to produce stunning shots every time. Sony have managed to fit an impressive 7.2 megapixels and a large 3.0-inch touch-screen into this camera which measures just 95mm (W) x 56.5mm (H) x 23.4mm thin. The high-quality Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens features a 3x Optical Zoom range, plus the 6x Precision Digital Zoom and 14x VGA Smart Zoom modes, which allow even further magnification of objects in the distance.
Double Anti-Blur Sony Technology
The Sony Cyber-Shot T50 combines high sensitivity (ISO 1000) with Super Steady Shot optical image stabilisation for fantastic results, even handheld shots taken in low light conditions. The Sony Clear RAW NR image processing reduces colour noise that can occur when using the high sensitivity settings, helping you to produce more natural-looking pictures. This is one of the few compact cameras that effortlessly captures clear, blur-free images even if the shooting conditions are poor. To maximise the benefits of the high resolution settings, the Cyber-shot T50 uses a Sony-developed 1/2.5-inch Super HAD CCD sensor, which boosts the dynamic range to help eliminate ‘washed out’ and overexposed images.
High-Sensitivity Movies
Make use of the high sensitivity settings to record movies in light as dim as 10 lux (approx. 1.3 EV) – you can even use the optical zoom to capture exactly what you want. Use the LCD touch panel during movie playback to start, stop, forward and rewind your film at the touch of a button.
Clear Photo LCD Plus Touch Screen
Sony has designed a 3.0-inch touch-sensitive screen with Clear Photo LCD Plus technology, which delivers a crisp, bright image with fewer reflections thanks to the smooth anti-reflection layer. Use the LCD touch panel to directly access various shooting and playback functions, including the Paint Function so you can add artistic touches to your photos using the supplied stylus, and the unique Flexible Spot AF function which lets you focus directly on an exact element of the composition at a single touch. Select Smart illumination to automatically turn off distracting on-screen icons while you are composing your shots.
Image Sharing
Make use of the Sony Cyber-shot T50’s large 3-inch LCD screen to view your images as a slideshow, with or without additional effects (simple, nostalgic, stylish, and active) and background music - choose from four preset tunes or use the Music Transfer software to upload music from your PC. The Picture Motion Browser software makes it simple to move and manage your photos on any PC, and will automatically organise your photos in calendar format. Connect the Cyber-shot T50 directly to any compatible PictBridge photo printer (such as the Sony DPP-FP55) for straightforward and instant printing.
The Sony Cyber-shot T50 is a fantastic compact camera with a generous 56MB internal memory and impressive STAMINA battery technology that allows you to shoot continuously for over 3 hours. A fantastic all-rounder.
