Powerful Sony Technology
You are guaranteed fantastic shots every time with the Cyber-Shot T300, which despite its size features 10.1 effective megapixels and a range of powerful in-camera technology, including the high quality Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens which has a powerful 5x zoom range to bring distant subjects closer with exceptional clarity.
High-Speed Digital Image Processing
The high-speed Sony BIONZ image processing engine assures great picture quality when shooting indoors or without the flash: the processor boosts the sensitivity rating to a maximum ISO 3200, to reduce noise. This combines with the Super SteadyShot optical image stabilisation system, collectively named Sony’s Double Anti-Blur solution, to produce crisp and clear pictures, particularly when shooting handheld in poor light or at high zoom settings.
Innovative Shooting
The Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T300 image processor enhances the speed and accuracy of the camera’s functions, including auto-focus, exposure control, colour adjustment and white balance. In addition, it also powers the D-Range Optimiser, which adjusts the exposure and contrast to create natural-looking images, which is essential when shooting tricky backlit scenes. The DRO Plus mode individually processes each image area for balanced and lifelike reproductions.
Perfect People Shots
Portraits and family photos are made easy, thanks to the clever Face Detection technology which automatically distinguishes between children and adults, and adjusts the exposure, skin tone and handles red-eye to produce beautiful photographs with incredibly fast subject tracking. The Sony Cyber-Shot T300 is guaranteed to capture only happy memories with the Smile Shutter function – the camera will automatically take a photo when your subject is smiling, allowing you to capture relaxed portraits and special moments with children who don’t always smile on demand!
Intelligent Scene Recognition
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T300 also features Intelligent Scene Recognition which automatically selects the correct camera settings for a range of shooting conditions. Select Advanced mode and the camera will take two photos – one with standard automatic settings, the other with optimised settings – so you can pick your favourite image.
Image Management
The large, widescreen 3.5-inch Clear Photo LCD Plus touch-screen has an impressively high resolution of 230k dots, making it perfect for viewing your shots and sharing them with friends and family. The ‘Date View’ mode displays thumbnail images of your shots on an on-screen calendar, while the ‘Favourites’ mode will only display your selected images. Cleverly you can ‘Filter by Faces’, to automatically sort through pictures of children and portraits, saving you time.
