The Sony Cyber-shot S600 Digital Camera

Stylish and compact, with innovative yet easy-to-use digital camera technology, the Sony Cyber-shot S600 is a great addition to the Sony point-and-shoot range. This is a fun and affordable camera that produces superb image quality every time – perfect for any novice photographer.

Sharper Shots and High Sensitivity

The 6.0 effective Megapixel Sony Super HAD CCD and 31mm wide-angle Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 3x Optical Zoom lens combine to produce high resolution photographs, with sharp clarity and fine detail. Plus, with a 6x Precision Digital Zoom and 13x VGA Smart Zoom, you can easily shoot far-distance subjects. The Sony Cyber-shot S600’s High Sensitivity ‘anti-blur’ technology allows you to continue to take photographs in difficult conditions, such as low light, without the risk of hand shake blurring your pictures; you can also capture moving objects, or you can be moving and shooting a stationary object.
Select the 16:9 shooting mode to shoot wide-screen images for viewing on any wide-screen TV.

Perfectly Lit photographs

The Sony Cyber-shot S600 features an enhanced Strong Flash, which allows you to take photos with the flash of subjects up to 11m away (at ISO 1000) – around three times the distance compared to other digital cameras. Alternatively, if you want to more naturally lit photographs, the Sony Clear RAW NR original algorithm allows you to shoot without using the flash. This technology lets you shoot with significantly higher sensitivity (up to ISO 1000), by reducing colour and luminance noise to ensure your images have greater depth whilst retaining their sharpness and clarity.

Pre-set Scene Selection Modes

With seven pre-set settings, the Cyber-shot S600 is ideal for shooting in a wide range of conditions, including Beach, Snow, Twilight, and High Sensitivity; simply select the most appropriate mode and the camera will take care of the shutter speed and exposure. For more creative photographers, there is also a manual exposure setting.

The Complete Package

The Cyber-shot S600 has a large, bright 2.0-inch screen so you can easily frame, view and review your images. The 32MB internal memory and STAMINA battery technology means you can continue shooting without worrying about running out of memory or battery. To extend your shooting capabilities even more, choose the optional 2500mAh Ni-MH batteries which can take up to 460 shots on just one charge, and the Sony Memory Stick Duo™ or Memory Stick PRO Duo™ which allows you to store even more pictures before having to transfer them onto a PC.
