Samsung F30

Samsung have a long reputation of making very stylish camcorders that are full of features. The recently launched Samsung F30 is a camera that looks great and has all the features but still remains extremely cheap in price.

This is one of the cheapest camcorders that you can buy and yet it still gives you a very good video quality! The features and styling that the Samsung F30 has are typical will those that are double in price so in this camera it’s really the price that makes the difference.

For your money you’ll get a small camcorder, it’s actually just weights 270 grams which is very light for a camcorder like this. It’s so small and compact that it’s very easy for you to carry around. Unlike most other camcorders though this actually has features like a massive 2.7 inch screen built in! It’s rare to see such features from a camera that is priced so low.

Although this camcorder doesn’t record in HD quality (that would be far to much to expect for the price) it does however give you very detailed video that is clearly of an extremely good standard. Not only do you get fantastic quality from your video you can also use the 42x optical zoom to get even closer to the action without losing the quality of the video at all. Using this camcorder you can still take photographs however the quality of these isn’t the same as using a good stand alone camera.

The Samsung F30 does have a lot of features, along with the design and great video quality the camera also has unlimited memory and a long lasting battery. With a camcorder like this that is very portable having the ability to shoot video anywhere is very important and if your doing so having a good battery life is essential. Samsung have made the F30 camcorder come with at least three hours of battery life while giving a super fast charge time too!

Using the Samsung F30 you can store an unlimited amount of video, the camera uses SD cards for memory which are available very cheaply, you can simply put an SD card in the camera and shoot video right onto that. Getting the video to your computer is easy because most computers allow you to plug the SD card right into the computer where you can view and share your videos. Once the SD card is full you can remove the videos from the card or buy another for even more storage. It’s worth mentioning that the Samsung F30 does have a special option for shooting video in a special “Web and Mobile” format which makes it even easier to get the perfect format to share with others.

The Samsung F30 camcorder also uses a special codec for storing the videos, MPEG2 which allows you to store almost twice as much information per megabyte compared to the standard MPEG format which is great news!
