Samsung’s market leading Smart Surface Mounting Technology (SSMT) is the advanced engineering behind the Samsung D900i’s slender, space saving design. Measuring just 103.5 x 51 x 12.9 mm, yet featuring a 3 megapixel camera, video capabilities, music player and mobile internet, the Samsung D900i mobile communications device doesn’t compromise when it comes to performance.
Digital Imaging
The Samsung D900i makes it easy to take great photos when you are out and about. The integrated 3 megapixel camera comes complete with a 4x digital zoom, auto focus and LED flash, delivering great images and allowing you to snap what you see with confidence.
A range of video options let you capture the action with more than just still images. With 352 x 288 resolution and selectable frame rates, the Samsung D900i is capable of capturing H.263 and MPEG4 compatible footage.
Make Messaging Fun
The Samsung D900i features a host of fun messaging options specially designed to make SMS messages more colourful and interactive. For instance, with vivid message, specific words within the text will be accompanied by lively graphics; making you messages jump from the screen and entertain those who receive them.
Mobile Music
A built-in music player and FM radio receiver give you plenty to keep you entertained. The music player supports a wide range of common digital music formats such as MP3, AAC and AAC+. The Samsung D900i also features a video player, enabling you to view video online and playback any clips you have captured yourself or imported.
Handheld Internet
WAP 1.2 brings the mobile internet to life on the Samsung D900i. Surf the web, stream online content, send and receive emails plus download media files and games, all from the palm of your hand.
Unique Capabilities
The innovative uPlus features of the Samsung D900i let you customise important navigation and security functions. uMenu allows you to create your own custom menus, ideal for creating quick access to the applications and features that matter most to you. uTrack is a clever security function that, via an SMS to a pre-determined number, alerts you when the handset’s SIM card is swapped, a useful tool helping to aid the retrieval of a stolen phone.
