Panasonic KXNT Range of IP Phones for the KX-TDA System

The Panasonic KXNT mark is a range of IP phones designed with business in mind. The KXNT line is also designed to work with the Panasonic KX-TDA integrated communications setup.

The KX-TDA business telephone system is in fact the pre-eminent system in the UK with one being sold every seven minutes on average. Furthermore, the market share figures indicate that Panasonic will be a market leader in this area for some time to come. This can, of course, only reflect favourably on the system itself.

The Panasonic KXNT 265 is one of the standard units in the range. Though relatively basic it does feature a single-line 16 character LCD display, a message/ringer indicator lamp and has eight programmable keys with dual colour LEDs. To enable full handsfree working, the unit is headset compatible with a 2.5mm port as standard, and also features a handsfree speakerphone.

The Panasonic KXNT 136 is another one of the models in this range. The model features a full duplex speakerphone and also has a 6-line, backlit, alphanumeric LCD display. Also featured are 24 line keys, a message ringer lamp, handsfree speech and on-hook dialling, and there is a conference facility. Autoanswer and autodial are also featured, and the KXNT 136 is also fully wall mountable and is compatible with hearing aids.

A further model in the range is the Panasonic KXNT 343 IP phone. This phone features a large, 3-line, 24 character adjustable LCD screen. The 343 also features 24 programmable keys and also has a special button to navigate the menus via the LCD. This model also has the full duplex speakerphone and has a 2.5mm headset jack. There are also two Ethernet ports, to allow for extra connectivity and to take advantage of POE. The model is as standard wall mountable and has 10 speed dial memories.

The next model in the range is the KXNT 346 IP phone and it features many of the same options as the KXNT 343 such as the 24 programmable buttons with dual-colour LEDs and the full duplex speakerphone. It also has the dual Ethernet ports and the 2.5mm headset jack which allows for full handsfree working in conjunction with the speakerphone and autoanswer feature. There is also a 4-step handset volume and 4-step ringer volume control. On this model, however, the LCD is of a larger 6-line, 24 character, alphanumeric backlit display configuration which is also adjustable. The unit is also, of course, wall mountable for ease of location.

The final model is the KXNT 366 IP phone. This, too, shares many familiar features with its range-mates. As standard, there is wall mountability, a headset jack, a message alert lamp, on-hook dialling and hearing aid compatibility. Also featured is autoanswer and autodial and there is the same 6-line alphanumeric backlit LCD display as is on the KXNT 346. However, this model features 48 programmable keys, with the dual LED indicators, increasing functionality and precluding the need to buy any extra accessory. Finally, this model also has a 10 memory speed dial function and the same volume control facilities as the KXNT 346.
