NEC Display Monitors

NEC is known in the business world for a variety of products and although it has its roots in telecommunications, it is also a popular provider of displays for desktop use, as well as projection and large scale display equipment.

Its most recent innovation comes in the form of its GreenVision range of displays. These have been created with the intention of keeping the environmental impact of using a display down to a minimum, with the hope that sustainability of such products will be achieved.

As well as producing ECO displays for desktop and projection purposes, it also has environmentally friendly display solutions for advertising and public information. Its basic desktop displays benefit from more efficient backlighting which uses LEDs to reduce heat expenditure and lengthen the lifespan of the display.

Recycled plastic is also used as frequently as possible in the construction of the ECO displays and the amount of harmful materials included has been cut significantly, with mercury, Halogen and arsenic all getting the chop. The ECO displays also automatically adjust themselves to optimise the amount of light that is being put out, cutting down on unnecessary wastage.
