Jabra BIZ 2400 Headset Review

According to the GN Netcom website, they will be launching a new corded headset in the second quarter of 2009. For the UK this means May 2009 for the launch of the GN Jabra BIZ 2400 headsets.

There are 19 variants in total when you take into consideration the one and two earpiece options and the various boom mic options. However, they are grouped under 3 main models:

• Jabra BIZ 2400 Standard Headset
• Jabra BIZ 2400 IP Headset
• Jabra BIZ 2400 USB Headset

The Jabra BIZ 2400 standard headset is aimed at users of desk phones, whilst the IP and USB BIZ 2400′s are aimed at more specialist users, both in office environments and call centers.

GN are claiming a whole host of improvements, not least the fact that the Jabra BIZ 2400 is the first corded headset with a built-in Bluetooth connection. They are also highlighting the FreeSpin 360 degrees rotation to help avoid damage to the boom.
