The Canon SX120 IS is a 10 mega pixel camera, this allows you the ability to take photos that include all the details as if you were there. The 10 megapixels means that you can make your photos into poster size while keeping the same quality, with other cameras that have less megapixels the image quality can be effected as you make the image larger, that however is not the case with this fantastic camera.

Inside the Canon SX120 IS camera comes a very special image processor that has been made exclusively by Canon – the DIGIC 4 – this allows you to take quality photos quickly. The image processor handles the information from every photo you take in a flash, it makes the photos clear and crisp and results in a camera that is simple to use. This processor also means that inside the Canon SX120 IS is actually Blink Detection, Face Detection and Object Detection.

The camera has a 128 KB flash memory included, this allows you to store photos directly on to your camera with ease. If you are planning on taking a lot of photos then buying additional memory is very easy to do buying a cheap SD card. For a few pounds extra you can buy a memory card that will allow you to store a ton of photos right onto this camera. You’ll be surprised that this camera has a 10x optical zoom that allows you to zoom right in to the action without having a negative effect on the quality of the photograph.

Although the Canon PowerShot SX120 IS is a very good digital camera it is a little ugly. That’s the only downsize to this camera that we can find. It’s still small and very light but not the most stylish camera that is available, if your looking for a good camera that can take fantastic quality photos and the style of the camera doesn’t really matter much to you then the Canon SX120 IS is a very good choice.

It’s certainly worth mentioning though that this camera does come with a three inch screen LCD screen. Not only does this allow you to easily see your subject but it also means that you can view your images clearly which is vitally important if you want to take good photos. If you have used a camera before that has a really tiny screen then you will really appreciate the large screen this Canon camera has.

Many people highly recommend this camera – it allows you to take the best quality of images for a camera of this type while remaining at a price everyone can afford. You will be surprised at the fantastic quality that the Canon PowerShot cameras can actually provide and this is one of the best available in the Canon range. Although this camera isn’t the most stylish it’s one that is full of features and gives fantastic photos, just what you need from a good digital camera.
