Exceptional quality photographic prints are yours courtesy of a 7.1 Megapixel sensor and 6x optical zoom lens of the Canon PowerShot A710 IS. A 2.5″ LCD with selectable Grid Line Display allows you to compose and view your shots in high resolution and vibrant colour. Night Display heightens LCD visibility in dim light.
Blurred images are a thing of the past thanks to Canon’s optical Image Stabilizer engineering; camera shake is neutralised allowing you to keep on shooting in poor light conditions without the need of a flash. The ISO 800 setting allows photos to be taken at higher shutter speeds, giving you more than one option when it comes to avoiding blur.
Safety Zoom and Digital Tele-Converter provide different focusing options should you need image magnification or extended reach when composing your shot.

Flexizone AF/AE lets you focus manually. When taking pictures gets tiresome choose from 30fps VGA or 60fps QVGA movie settings.
