The Canon PowerShot A470 digital camera is the perfect take-anywhere camera that can be used by the whole family. It features a host of advanced shooting options and its 7.1 megapixel sensor delivers large photographic prints. The PowerShot A470 is available in four colours; red, blue, green and silver.
A vibrant 2.5″ LCD screen with Night Display allows you to capture and review your shots in full detail even in low light situations.
3.4x optical zoom lens and selectable 14x digital zoom provide plenty of reach for those occasions when you need to get a little bit closer.
A generous 7.1 Megapixel sensor captures images in crisp detail, at a resolution that delivers lab quality photographic prints.

Despite its compact design and ease of use, the Canon PowerShot A470 houses some of the most advanced technologies available. DIGIC III processing and iSAPS technology provide fast camera performance, intuitive handling and faithful colour reproduction, delivering exceptional quality results with the minimum of fuss.
Face Detection Technology intelligently detects faces within the shot and adjusts shooting settings to ensure optimum results when shooting portraits and people shots. The impressive Face Select and Track option allows you to pick your chosen subject out in a crowd and keep track of them, ideal for birthday parties and family get-togethers.
Part of the High ISO Auto system, Motion Detection Technology counteracts camera shake and subject movement to deliver pristine images free from unwanted blurring.
