Canon PowerShot A1100

If you are looking for a new digital camera or are wanting to get an upgrade then the Canon PowerShot A1100 is a camera that may be just perfect for you. Canon have made this digital camera with all the features you would expect and more, this camera is very easy to use and is sized perfectly to fit in your pocket. This is a camera that is actually reasonably priced but still has a lot of features and of course still gives fantastic photo quality which you would expect nowadays.

The Canon PowerShot A1100 is a camera that allows you to take images in a quality that can be made into large prints or cropped and still keep the same quality. With a 12.1 megapixel resolution this camera actually has one of the best image qualities that is available and certainly if your using this camera for amateur photography or family photos then this will actually prove to be plenty.

It’s well worth mentioning that the Canon A1100 does have a 4x optical zoom that is built in, this allows you to zoom in your subject without having the image quality affected in a negative way at all. When your using the zoom on a digital camera like this camera shake does become a huge problem however with Canon’s special Optical Image Stabilisation that is built into the camera means that image shake will no longer be a problem for you.

This camera is a really smart one, turn on the unique Smart Auto mode and it will quickly select the photo taking settings that are right for your shot. No longer is there a need to spend a long time working out the settings that are best for your photo as the camera will instantly do this for you. Even when light conditions are bad the Canon A1100 will work it’s magic using Motion Detection and Face Detection to make photos in low light conditions look even better!

As for memory, with the Canon PowerShot A1100 you will get an SD card that allows 128 MB or storage, that will allow you to take some photos and a little video to be stored on this camera. However for just over £5 you can get a fantastic 4GB flash card that will hold a massive amount of photos and videos with ease. The small included memory is the only downside we can find with this camera and it’s easy to fix this little problem.

With the Canon A1100 you do have the ability to get a perfect shot every single time. The camera has been designed to give fantastic photo quality that you would expect from a really light quality camera but this camera also looks great and is very light and small making it easy to carry around with you. If you are looking for a digital camera then the Canon A1100 from the great PowerShot range is a very good camera that is very well priced and highly recommended.
