Weighing a mere 475 grams, the Canon EOS 450D is designed for effortless and intuitive handling. Full image control, DIGIC III processing and Canon’s unique Integrated Cleaning System provide class-leading performance and deliver exceptional results.
EOS 450D Features
The Canon EOS 450D features a 12.2 Megapixel CMOS sensor, capturing sharp images and delivering exceptional poster-sized photographic prints. Up to 3.5 frames per second can be taken, delivering, at maximum, 53 large size JPEG images in a single burst.
The large 3.0” LCD screen of the Canon EOS 450D allows you to review your shots in bright, vivid detail. A handy Live Mode function allows you to frame your shots using the LCD instead of the viewfinder; ideal for trying to capture that important shot from a tricky angle. Playback magnification lets you zoom in closer to inspect sharpness and composition.
A 9-point auto focus system lets you focus accurately on subjects even if they are not at the centre of the frame.
Advanced Technology
The Canon EOS 450D incorporates Canon’s advanced DIGIC III processor. The DIGIC III provides accurate white balance assessment, lifelike 14-bit colour processing and high speed camera performance whilst minimising energy use.
Canon’s pioneering Integrated Cleaning System provides a comprehensive solution to dust-free digital SLR photography. A combination of technologies minimise dust generation within the cameras body, clean the sensor every time the camera is turned on and map any persistent dust spots for easy removal in post-shoot editing.
Image Control
As you would expect from a D-SLR, the Canon EOS 450D gives you total control over how you capture your images. Parameters such as white balance, contrast, sharpness and colour saturation can be adjusted to suit your preference. Post-shoot alterations can be made using Canon’s Picture Style Editor (supplied).
RAW image processing is possible with the Digital Photo Professional software that is also supplied with the Canon EOS 450D.

The beauty of the Canon 450D is its compatibility with over 60 Canon EF/EF-S lenses and the whole range of EX Series Speedlight flashes; allowing the camera to grow with you as your skills develop.
