Being a professional level camera, the Canon EOS-1D Mark III is built to last. A magnesium alloy body with environmental seals protects the camera from moisture and dust as well as the more simple demands of day-to-day operation.
An APS-H size (28.1 x 18.7mm) CMOS sensor captures exceptionally rendered images with a broad dynamic range and low visual noise.
A large 3.0″ TFT LCD screen with 10x magnification allows you to review your shots in crisp detail. If you find yourself shooting from a restricted position, Live View mode lets you compose your shot using the LCD.
The 10 megapixel Canon EOS-1D Mark III can shoot an astonishing 110-frame burst at a rate of 10 frames per second, perfect for capturing action packed situations.

The Canon EOS-1D Mark III incorporates Canon’s Integrated Cleaning System, a unique combination of technologies that prevents dust forming inside the camera and causing photographic imperfections. Part of the system is a Self-Cleaning Sensor Unit that uses tiny movements to remove dust from the sensor every time the camera is switched on.
Image Control
Picture Style presets deliver a fully customisable way of achieving different colour characteristics, a lot like changing film in a traditional analog camera. Each preset lets you make your own adjustments to variables such as colour tone, saturation and contrast, allowing you to fine tune the Canon EOS-1D Mark III and achieve the results you need.
EOS-1D Camera Accessories
