The sleek, contemporary IXUS styling of the Canon Digital IXUS 80 IS comes in four stylish colours, choose from Classic Silver, Candy Pink, Caramel and Chocolate.
Incorporating an 8.0 Megapixel sensor, the Canon Digital IXUS 80 IS delivers exceptional photos bursting with vibrant colour and detail, ideal for large size photographic prints. The IXUS 80 has both a 2.5″ PureColor LCD II screen and an optical viewfinder to choose from. AiAF 9-point focusing ensures that images are pin-sharp no matter where your point of focus is located within frame.
Canon Technology
Face Detection Technology automatically adjusts key camera settings to deliver excellent portraits and people shots time after time. The innovative Face Select and Track mode allows you to pick a subject out of a crowd and keep track of them, ideal for birthdays and special occasions.
Red-Eye Correction lets you eliminate red-eye as you capture or review your shots without the need for any external editing.
The Canon Digital IXUS 80 IS is home to Canon’s acclaimed DIGIC III processor. The DIGIC III works with you as you shoot to ensure rapid camera responses, exceptional image management and true to life colour reproduction. iSAPS engineering analyses the scene and fine-tunes the cameras settings to produce excellent at the push of a button; it’s like a having an expert with you every step of the way.

The Digital IXUS 80 IS lets you shoot movies as well as photographs. Several movies modes provide plenty of options; Long Play mode captures video clips that occupy only half the usual storage space and Time Lapse mode records gradually unfolding scenes that can be played back as seamless movies.
