Canon IXUS 75 Features

The 7.1 Megapixel CCD sensor of the Canon Digital IXUS 75 records every moment in sharp detail and will deliver quality prints up to poster size. A huge 3″ PureColour LCD with a scratch-resistant, anti-glare coating, allows you to compose, assess and edit your shots in rich, vibrant colour and sharp resolution.

The Canon Digital IXUS 75 features an Ultra-High Refractive Index Aspherical (UA) ultra-compact 3x optical zoom lens, delivering stunning results without compromising the cameras compact nature.

ISO speeds up to 1600 will ensure sharp images where flash photography is not possible, allowing you to tackle low-light shooting effortlessly. The pioneering ISO Auto Shift will come to your aid whenever camera shake is anticipated, ensuring image blur is avoided, enabling you to shoot with confidence in even the dimmest of conditions.

A dedicated Playback button allows you to instantly switch between shooting and playback modes.

By automatically detecting subjects within the frame and selecting the most favourable focus, exposure and flash, perfect people shots will be yours time and time again. My Category then tags each shot to allow simple access to your images for tasks such as printing and deleting.

The in-camera Face Detection Technology also enables you to swiftly correct red-eye should it appear in any images.

Shooting

17 shooting modes, including specific Special Scene modes, give you the flexibility to capture the action whatever the situation. The My Colours function opens up a world of possibilities by allowing in-camera colour effects to be applied to images and movies.

When taking photos gets tiresome, the Canon Digital IXUS 75 allows you to take VGA movies with sound at 30fps. Capture unfolding scenes with the time-lapse movie function then play them back as video clips.
