DC50 Features

Optical Technology
The Canon DC50 features two of the advanced optical technologies created for the Canon High Definition camcorder range, the Super Range Optical Image Stabilizer and the DIGIC DV II processor.
Canon’s Super Range Optical Image Stabilizer engineering works alongside the 10x optical zoom lens of the Canon DC50 to deliver shake-free, crystal-clear movies even when you get in close on the action.
The DICIC DV II is the brain of the Canon DC50 camcorder, providing excellent colour and noise processing as well as sophisticated handling of both movies and stills, allowing you to capture photos as you shoot video. An RGB Primary Colour Filter ensures that all your special moments are recorded in exceptional, life-like colour.
Digital Photography
As well as capturing stunning video direct to DVD, the Canon DC50 also boasts an impressive range of photographic functions.
With a 5.39 Megapixel sensor, the Canon DC50 is more than capable of matching the photographic demands experienced by a dedicated digital compact.
Photos are stored to MiniSD, a convenient format for those who don’t want to be restricted by limited storage space.
A built in flash allows you to take great pictures wherever you go.
