DC22 Features
The Canon DC22 DVD camcorder gives you the convenience and simplicity of recording straight to DVD, perfect for sharing your movies and photos with friends. Compatibility with a selection of DVD formats, -R/-RW/-R Dual Layer, as well as MiniSD memory cards (photos only), gives you flexibility when it comes to storage options.
The lightweight, compact Canon DC22 was designed with ease of use in mind. Controls are grouped together to enable simple, one-handed operation, delivering an exceptional user experience.
A 2.7″ widescreen LCD with advanced features lets you compose, shoot and share your movies and photos with confidence. A horizontal level indicator ensures images are captured free from unwanted tilting whilst anti-reflective screen coating enhances LCD visibility in strong light conditions.
Take advantage of DVD-R Dual Layer technology by shooting up to 108 minutes of footage on a single disc.
The Canon DC22 features a built in LED video light, providing extended shooting options in poor light conditions.
An AV input allows transfer from other electrical devices direct to DVD, perfect for backing-up old home movies and analogue videos.
Capture sensational sound thanks to two-channel Dolby Digital recording.
Optical Technology
The Canon DC22 camcorder is home to the DIGIC DV chip, a powerful image processor that delivers excellent colour reproduction plus advanced operation and optical performance.
An impressive 2.2 Megapixel CCD working in tandem with an RGB Primary Colour Filter records every special moment in 16:9 widescreen resolution, delivering stunning results rich with colour and detail.
A 10x optical zoom lens with Electronic Image Stabilizer provides exceptional visual range and image quality without the unwanted effects of camera shake.
Photographic Options
The Canon DC22 lets you shoot superb digital photographs and record them direct to DVD or MiniSD card. Photos can be captured and saved to MiniSD card while video is being recorded to DVD.
Flash photography is possible with the Canon DC22’s built-in flash.
