BT Paragon 510

The BT Paragon 510 is a corded phone capable of storing up to 200 frequently dialled numbers in its telephone directory, and also includes a SIM card reader. This means that you can transfer all of the telephone numbers stored in a mobile phone phone book, for example, to the BT Paragon 510, without having to re-key each individual entry. The BT Paragon 510 can therefore act as a useful backup should you lose, or lose use of, your mobile phone.

The BT Paragon also supports SMS text messaging, and visible and audible alerts indicate when a new text message arrives. A calls list preserves details of the last 30 incoming calls – telephone number, date, time – and, if caller display is enabled by your telephone network provider, you can see who is calling before you answer the phone. Speaker phone mode also means that you can talk on the phone while using your hands for other tasks, or allow someone else to listen in on your conversation.

BT Paragon 500

The BT Paragon 500 is an affordable corded telephone and answering machine, which allows just under 40 minutes of incoming messages to be recorded, and can be accessed remotely, to play back and listen to messages. You can also record your own personal voice mail greeting. The BT Paragon 500 handset features a large, easy to read, screen and the ability to send, and receive, SMS text messages. Up to 200 names and numbers can be stored in the phone book, and a choice of 6 polyphonic ring tones is available. Hands free operation, and caller display – if applicable – is also supported.

BT Paragon 400

The BT Paragon 400 is a corded phone and answering machine system is suitable for use in a variety of domestic and business situations. Up to 40 minutes, in total, of digital recording time is available, and can be divided into two, separate, mailboxes. This means, for example, that messages can be directed to an appropriate mailbox – an incoming caller can be directed to press a key on their keypad in order to achieve this – for personal, or business, use, or for two individual recipients. In addition, up to 20 telephone numbers – each of up to 32 digits in length – can be stored for easy retrieval and dialling.

BT Paragon 200

The BT Paragon 200 is another corded telephone and digital answering machine system suitable for domestic, or home office, use. The BT Paragon 200 handset features an integral inductive coupler, which is of benefit to hearing aid users, and can be equipped with a standard, alkaline battery, such that your telephone service, and, indeed, your messages, is preserved in the event of mains power failure. If a caller chooses not to leave a message on the answering machine, “caller return” can be configured to dial the BT 1471 Call Return service, and record the announcement. This means that you still have access to the telephone number of the caller – if not withheld – regardless of whether or not they explicitly leave a message.
