BT Freestyle 610

The BT Freestyle 610 is similarly GAP compatible, and features large handset buttons, and a large, easy to read, LCD, for the benefit of older, or less able, users. The BT Freestyle 610 is capable of storing up to 30 names and telephone numbers in its telephone directory and up to 5 numbers can be allocated to speed dial buttons. Earpiece volume control is included, and the handsets can be operated within 50 ft, or so, of a base station, indoors.

BT Freestyle 310

The BT Freestyle 310 is a digital cordless phone, which supports SMS text messaging and caller display, where available, and allows up to 100 names and telephone numbers to be stored. This model is, again, fully GAP compatible, and available in single, twin, or triple versions, so that two, separate handsets can be used with just one physical telephone connection. Each handset can be used for up to 10 hours – 100 hours on standby – at up to 50 ft from a base unit, indoors, and up to 1000′, outdoors, in the absence of intervening obstructions.

BT Freestyle 6300

The BT Freestyle 6300 is a fully GAP cordless phone, with a range of just over 150 ft indoors, and nearly 1000 ft outdoors, under ideal conditions. As such, the BT Freestyle 6300 can be sold singly, or as a package, containing 2, 3, or 4 individual handsets, which, nevertheless, only requires a single telephone connection, with additional handsets establishing a link to the base station.

The BT Freestyle 6300 includes all the features that you might expect in a versatile cordless phone – a 100 number telephone directory, call display, call waiting, last number redial, etc. – but also includes a large number of accessibility features, making it suitable for use by people of all ages, and visual and aural abilities. The LCD, for example, is large and features zoom capability so that it can be read easily, and the handset buttons are large, and easy to see and operate.

The BT Freestyle 6300 handset features a dedicated amplifier button and the ringer melody – of which there is a choice of 15 – volume and tone can similarly be adjusted. The handset also features an inductive coupler, for hearing aid users.

BT Freestyle 250

The BT Freestyle 250 is a fairly sophisticated DECT cordless phone, nevertheless, offering call clarity equivalent to a corded phone, and suitable for use in a variety of domestic and business situations. The BT Freestyle 250 features an integral answering machine – capable of recording up to 20 minutes of incoming messages – SMS text messaging, and a SIM card reader. Its 4-line, backlit LCD provides access to an easy to navigate menu system, which controls features such as clock, alarm and calendar functions. The ringer volume can be controlled, independently, at the base station and the handsets, and a keypad lock can be applied, to prevent unwanted, or unauthorised, calls being made.

The BT Freestyle 250 also includes intercom, call transfer and conference calling functions, and, once again, is fully GAP compatible.
