BT150 Baby Monitor Review

One of the most popular Baby Monitors on the market is the Award Winning BT 150 Baby Monitor. It utilises DECT technology to enhance the signal which means crisper, clearer sound is delivered throughout your home. In fact, the signal is so strong it can travel up to 50 meters – assuming you’ve not got 4ft thick walls!

BT 150 Baby Monitor Features

The BT 150 baby monitor has a MP3, CD audio source so you can play any music you want to your baby, or in our case toddlers. You can also record your own voice to help settle the baby. Now I’m not the best singer in the world but my babies like it so I’ve recorded my own voice which seems to soothe the baby, well toddlers now, at certain times.

Actually, that’s a good point. Our baby isn’t a baby anymore but that doesn’t stop us using the baby monitor. We use it as an intercom which is especially useful if we’ve got the TV on or the little beauty won’t go to sleep – we just use the talk facility.

The BT 150 monitor has a room temperature monitor which is both sensitive and accurate. It also has a built-in light, torch and talk-back feature – which means you don’t have to keep running upstairs for older children.

The sound quality is so crisp and clear, we can actually hear the baby breathe, which is very reassuring to new parents.

The monitor works on both mains power and battery power, which means you can just grab the monitor from the cradle and take it with you. The charge lasts at least the whole evening. We put ours back in the power charging unit over night which we keep permanently in the bedroom.

The BT 150 has won two major awards, in October 2008 it won the Mother and Baby Best Buy and just prior to that, in Sept 2008, BT also won the Which Magazine Best Buy.
