Despite our original prediction that the BT 200 Baby Monitor would be released in 2010, it was not actually released until 2011. Specifications of the new BT 200 are;

The model that brought BT to the fore with regard to baby monitors, was the BT 150. The specifications of the new BT 200 are as per the BT 150, and as such, perhaps slightly disappointing that BT haven’t moved this baby monitor on. Having said that, the BT 150 was brilliant so why mess with perfection?

BT 150 Baby Monitor

One of the most popular Baby Monitors on the market is the Award Winning BT 150 Baby Monitor. The BT 150 utilises the same DECT technology that is found in cordless phones. This ensures that the signal quality is crisp, clear and of a high quality that suits most, if not all homes, unless you live in a large mansion that is!

BT 200 Baby Monitor

When we first speculated on the BT 200, we were looking for the BT 200 to have a MP3 recordable feature, which allows you to deliver music of your own choice to your baby. You should also be able to record your own voice which in many cases, helps your baby to settle.

We said that ..

“The BT 200 is likely to come with an intercom system which would help you to talk to your baby, or toddler, from another room. This prevents the baby being able to demand that you pick them up, which can sometimes delay the bedtime routine.

The BT 200 baby monitor is probably going to have a room temperature monitor, a built-in light and torch.

The sound quality is likely to be retained from the BT 150, which is one of it’s key features in my opinion as it is so crisp and clear, we can actually hear the baby breathe, which is very reassuring to new parents.

The monitor works on both mains power and battery power, which means you can just grab the monitor from the cradle and take it with you. The charge lasts at least the whole evening. We put ours back in the power charging unit over night which we keep permanently in the bedroom.”
